It is Amalia Ercoli Finzi, a world reference figure in aerospace sciences and consultant for NASA, ESA, and ASI, the winner of the Angelo D’Arrigo award, the man who with his hang glider "flew with the eagles".

The award ceremony will take place on March 25 in Rome, at the monumental complex of San Salvatore in Lauro, during a special evening titled Angelo D’Arrigo - Twenty Years of Sky, organized by the Angelo D’Arrigo Foundation and the international center Antinoo for Art-Marguerite Yourcenar, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his passing.

"Angelo - explained Laura Mancuso, D’Arrigo's wife and president of the foundation named after him - always said that the sky does not belong to those who challenge it, but to those who respect it. I am happy that his name can be associated with a woman like Amalia Ercoli Finzi, because in her I find that same tireless curiosity, that same ability to look beyond, with courage and delicacy. It is as if, in some way, Angelo's flight continues.

Closing the evening will be "The Wing of Angelo", a symbolic and participatory moment in which the audience will be invited to leave thoughts and dreams, giving life to an ideal wing built from shared memory.
