Balancing among the branches of a palm tree: spectacular rescue by the Firefighters

Moments of great concern this morning in the San Marco neighborhood in Sciacca, where a man engaged in pruning operations became trapped among the branches of a palm tree inside a private villa.

The man, according to reports, was at a height of about ten meters when, for reasons under investigation, he became entangled and unable to descend.

The Firefighters from the Sciacca station arrived on the scene with an aerial ladder, along with an ambulance from 118.

The rescue operation was quick and particularly delicate: the firefighters, after securing the area, reached the man and freed him from the branches that were holding him, bringing him safely to the ground.

The intervention attracted the attention of the local residents, understandably worried for the unfortunate man, who was precariously perched on the large tree. Once on the ground, the man was handed over to the care of the 118 medical staff. Fortunately for him, only a great scare and no physical consequences.
