Nighttime theft at a sex shop: a 21-year-old reported.

The investigation by the Carabinieri of the Giarre Station into a theft that occurred at a sex shop in the city center has concluded with a complaint filed against an unknown person.

During the night, some unknown individuals broke into the establishment on via Brancati, damaging a vending machine and stealing displayed merchandise, as well as the cash stored in the machine.

The value of the loot has been estimated at around 200 euros, while the damage to the structure amounts to approximately 1,000 euros.

Following the complaint filed by the owner, the military initiated targeted investigations that quickly led to the identification of the suspected perpetrator: a 21-year-old from Giarre, already known to law enforcement.

Upon reaching the young man's residence, the Carabinieri conducted a search, recovering the stolen goods, which were immediately recognized by the shop owner.

Based on the evidence collected, to be verified in court, the young man has been referred to the judicial authority for aggravated theft in a commercial establishment.

The presumption of innocence remains until a final ruling.
