The Review Court of Palermo, presided by Annalisa Tesoriere, has released three of the four young men who were placed under house arrest on the charge of having first robbed a couple of young lovers.

One of them allegedly attempted to assault the girl on the night of November 30 in Borgetto, in the province of Palermo.

Released were Dennis Randazzo, 20 years old, and Samuel Plescia, 21, defended by lawyers Massimiliano Russo and Giacinto Arcuri, and Rossana Vitale, also 20 years old.

The only one remaining under house arrest is Alessio Gioacchino Tafarella, 19 years old, who did not appeal the review.

According to the investigations, the four suspects allegedly surprised the couple and rammed their car, forcing them to pull over.

At that point, after a scuffle and threats with a knife, they allegedly took 200 euros that were in the car of the alleged victims and Tafarella also allegedly attempted to assault the young woman.

This led to the arrests made on February 19.

According to the defense, the four actually encountered the secluded couple and flashed their lights.

The young man inside the car with his girlfriend, annoyed, would then have gotten out and cursed at them, then got back into the car and backed up and would have driven away, almost hitting the car of the group of young men.

The chase would then have started, according to the defense, to confront them about the insults and not to commit a robbery.

The two young lovers would eventually have chased and rammed the suspects.

The lawyers contest the robbery as well.

None of the young men would have taken money from the car during the scuffle that occurred in self-defense.

As well as the alleged sexual assault.

The young man would have intervened to separate the two girls who were fighting.
