Athletics: at the indoor World Championships, Larissa Iapichino wins silver in the long jump

Italy always first in the medal table of the indoor athletics World Championships. In Torun, Poland, after the three golds won by Andy Diaz (triple jump), Nadia Battocletti (3000), and Zaynab Dosso (60 meters), this morning a magical gold poker was narrowly missed with Larissa Iapichino taking silver in the long jump final with a measurement of 6.87, finishing behind the Portuguese Agate De Sousa with 6.92.

On the field, the race for the podium continues in the shot put with Leonardo Fabbri, currently in third place with a measurement of 20.75.

And in the afternoon, all eyes will be on 18:38 for the final of the 1500 where we have Federico Riva in great shape (the women's final with Ludovica Cavalli at 19:22) and closing at 19:12 with the long jump final where the world champion Mattia Furlani will be on the field after a 2025 to remember: double indoor world gold in Nanjing and outdoor in Tokyo.
