Athletics: at the World Championships, a stellar Battocletti gives Italy its second gold medal.

After Andy Diaz's triumph in the triple jump, today the queen of distance won the title in the 3000 meters. From 9 PM, there are two more finals, and we have to cheer for Lorenzo Simonelli (60 hurdles) and Zaynab Dosso (60 meters) who are in contention for the podium. At the indoor athletics World Championships, Italy wins its second gold. After yesterday's triumph by Andy Diaz in the triple jump, today a fantastic, extraordinary, and tremendous Nandia Battocletti won the 3000 title in 8'57"64, and after the Olympic and world silver in the 10,000, the world bronze in the 5000, not to mention a series of European titles across track, road, and cross country, she takes the gold in her first time at an indoor World Championship.
