Blue team at the Indoor Athletics World Championships: Nadia Battocletti wins the gold medal in the 3000 meters in Toruń, achieving one of the most prestigious results of her career.

In her first participation in an indoor world championship, the athlete from Trentino excelled with an intelligent and progressive race, finishing with a decisive final lap that allowed her to surpass the American Emily Mackay and the Australian Jessica Hull.

The success is even more significant as it represents the first indoor world title for Battocletti, thus confirming her status among the best middle-distance runners in the international scene. The race, held at the Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena, was decided in a sprint after a tactical initial phase, with the Italian athlete able to change pace at the crucial moment.

The final time, 8'57"64, reflects a performance of great solidity, built with clarity and the ability to manage effort. For Italy, this is a significant medal at the indoor world championships, confirming the excellent form of the blue movement.

Battocletti's victory comes at the peak of a particularly brilliant period: in recent years, the blue athlete has collected podiums across track, cross country, and road, consolidating a continuity of results that today firmly places her at the world's top.

In Toruń, therefore, Italy celebrates a new world champion, capable of asserting herself with authority and opening a new chapter in her international career.
