A two-faced Milan beats Torino at the end of an intense match full of twists and turns. The rossoneri of Massimiliano Allegri, missing Leao but driven by a steel midfield and the vision of Modric, achieve a crucial victory in their pursuit of the scudetto, overcoming a Torino that never gave up and managed to stay in the game until the last second.

First half: back and forth

The start of the match is tense, with slow rhythms that seem to favor the defensive solidity of D'Aversa's granata. The game ignites at 37': from a short clearance by the visiting defense, Strahinja Pavlovic coordinates a left-footed volley from 25 meters that strikes Paleari under the crossbar. San Siro erupts, but the joy lasts little. At 44', after a great intervention by Maignan on Vlasic, Giovanni Simeone is the quickest to tap in the equalizer.

Second half: the rossonero one-two

In the second half, Allegri changes formation to a four-man defense and Milan takes off in three minutes:

At 54': A magic from Modric frees Pulisic on the wing, a precise cross and a perfect run from Adrien Rabiot who scores the 2-1 (first goal in rossonero at Meazza for the Frenchman).

At 56': Torino feels the blow and capitulates again. Athekame serves Youssouf Fofana in the center: a surgical right-footed shot and a rossonero hat-trick.

Thrilling finale

The match seems closed, but Torino deserves credit for believing. At 82', after a call to VAR, referee Fourneau awards a penalty kick to the granata for a contact between Pavlovic and Simeone. From the spot, Vlasic is icy, deceives Maignan, and signs the 3-2. The last minutes are a granata siege, but Milan's defense withstands the pressure until the final whistle.
