Messina hosts the national volleyball team: two prestigious friendlies leading up to the European Championships.

The Italian men's national volleyball team will indeed be in training by the Strait in the weeks leading up to the upcoming Men's European Volleyball Championships, an event that will take place in several Italian cities including Naples, Modena, Turin, and Milan.

The Azzurri, led by head coach Ferdinando De Giorgi, will be featured at the PalaRescifina during the FIPAV Cup Men Elite, a high-level tournament organized by the Italian Volleyball Federation as a preparatory stage for the continental event.

The Messina audience will be able to attend two highly anticipated international matches. The first match is scheduled for August 28 at 8 PM, when Italy will face the Cuban men's national volleyball team. The second match will take place on August 30 at 9 PM, with the Azzurri competing against the Brazilian men's national volleyball team.
