When will Catania play in the playoffs? Here are the dates.

On May 17, Catania is expected to begin the playoffs, entering directly into the second round as a seeded team. If they maintain second place at the end of the regular season, behind Benevento, the team currently managed by coach William Viali would be able to skip three rounds (two from the group stage on May 3 and May 6, and one national round scheduled for May 10 and May 13), reaching the quarter-finals – let's call it that for clarity – and with the possibility of advancing to the semi-finals even with two draws. Thus, the first leg will be on May 17, and the return leg on May 20.

The semi-finals will also be played in two matches on Sunday May 24 and Wednesday May 27, while the final will be held over two matches on June 2 and June 7.

After finishing the regular season on April 26 at home against Atalanta U23, Catania will have 21 days of downtime to fill with a training camp, friendlies, and – this is a favorable point – the recovery of some injured players. Not Aloi and Di Gennaro, who as reiterated by the Etna club are still in recovery but will not be able to return in time to play in an official match.
