Licata football wins in court as well: appeals from Marsala and Bagheria rejected, Serie D is close.

The Sports Judge, after examining the appeals submitted by Marsala and 90011 Bagheria and taking note of the defensive memorandum produced by Licata calcio, with separate rulings but the same reasoning, rejected the requests of the two appellants upholding the results achieved on the field, namely Licata's victory in Marsala by 1 to 0 and the subsequent home victory, by 3 to 0, against the Bagheria team.

As already known, this all stemmed from the one-match suspension imposed on goalkeeper Valenti after the match with San Giorgio La Piana, which was served during the home match against Città di San Vito Lo Capo, which practically ended at the 45th minute of the first half, but whose conclusion was sanctioned by the referee with the final whistle after waiting in vain for the opponents to return to the field.

On the following day, Valenti did not participate in the Licata - Città di San Vito Lo Capo match on 02/22/2026, but in light of the regulations governing the matter and the reasons put forward by Licata calcio, although the match with the Trapani team is still currently under review for the measures to be taken following the investigations by the Federal Prosecutor's Office, the Sports Judge has nonetheless confirmed the results achieved by the gialloblù on the field, who with an even more serene spirit than they have been so far, feel closer to returning to Serie D.
