Martial arts: ten Sicilians in blue at the European ju jitsu championships
From Saturday in Crete, the champions of Il Dojo and Dai-ki Dojo Catania, Eragon Modica, Akiyama Capaci, and Karma Fit Palermo will compete. Among the technical staff are the two Catanese masters Cosimo Costa and Giovanni Puglisi.

The Indoor Sports Hall Heraklion Municipal Sports Centers in Crete will host the European Ju Jitsu Championships from Saturday to the 21st, one of the most important events on the continental calendar, with 45 participating nations and hundreds of athletes ready to compete for the European titles in various categories and specialties.
Italy will compete with over 220 athletes aiming for the podium in an event that will also award titles for the Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Under 21, Adults, and Masters categories, in a sports program that promises to be of the highest level in these specialties: Fighting System, Jiu Jitsu, Duo System, Show System, and Inclusive Self-Defense Cognitive.
The Italian Team will be present with one of the largest delegations in the competition: 171 athletes in the main categories, along with 50 young athletes Under 14, and among the blue team are nine Sicilian talents, confirming the quality of the Sicilian ju jitsu school that continues to launch many talents. At this European Championship, the blue technical staff led by the National Sports Area Manager, Master Raffaele Buovolo, will also include two masters from Catania: Cosimo Costa (Il Dojo Catania) and Giovanni Puglisi (Dai-ki Dojo Catania). A highly skilled technical staff that will accompany the athletes in this important international challenge.
