Operation Drug Parking in Comiso and Vittoria, Senator Sallemi praises the law enforcement agencies.
A severe blow dealt to drug trafficking
Senator Salvo Sallemi
Senator Salvo Sallemi, a member of the Parliamentary Anti-Mafia Commission and Deputy Group Leader of Brothers of Italy, expressed his praise for the State Police of Ragusa for the effective anti-drug operation “Drug Parking”, carried out under the coordination of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Catania.
“The ten orders for criminal association aimed at drug trafficking represent a severe blow dealt to a criminal network that operated recklessly between Comiso and Vittoria,” said Senator Sallemi.
“The numbers of this investigation are clear: an estimated turnover of around 2 million euros linked to drug dealing. Once again, the men and women of the Law Enforcement demonstrate extraordinary professionalism and dedication, dismantling an organization that undermined the legality and safety of our territories.”
“To them, and to the Etna DDA that coordinated the investigations, goes my most heartfelt praise. The State is present and this is yet another important operation in the territory.”
