Meloni's pressure on Daniela Santanchè: "She should share the choice of Delmastro and Bartolozzi"

From her entourage, it has been communicated that the minister will keep her scheduled appointments, at least for tomorrow, but Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, while expressing appreciation for the choice of Undersecretary of Justice Andrea Delmastro and Chief of Staff Giusi Bartolozzi to resign from their positions, "hopes that, in the same spirit of institutional sensitivity, a similar choice will be shared by Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè." This was reported in a note from Palazzo Chigi just after sources from the Ministry of Tourism had indicated that, despite rumors of possible resignations, Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè continued to work regularly today, consulting with her collaborators, even though she was not physically present at the ministry. At the moment, the same sources report that all scheduled commitments for tomorrow and the coming days are confirmed. In particular, tomorrow morning Santanchè is expected at the office at 9:30, and among the day's commitments are meetings for the organization of the International Forum on Pet Tourism in May in Rome. On Thursday, she is expected to participate in the Assomarinas conference at 15:00.

After the resignations of Giusy Bartolozzi and Andrea Delmastro, the former chief of staff and the former undersecretary of justice respectively, the pressure from political opponents is now all on the Tourism Minister, who is on trial for false accounting in the Visibilia case and risks another indictment for an alleged fraud against Inps.
