Comments on the referendum in the province of Ragusa, Campo and Piccitto (Five Stars): "People have perceived an imbalance in power."
The Five Star Movement reviews the results in the various municipalities of the Ibleo territory.

"A success not only at the national level, but with even more significant percentages at the regional and provincial levels: 63% No in Ragusa and 67% in Modica, numbers that express a clear position of the citizens of the province against a proposal aimed at undermining the delicate balance between the powers of the State."
This is stated by the regional deputy of the 5 Star Movement of Ragusa, Stefania Campo, and the provincial coordinator Federico Piccitto the day after the consultation.
"It was an extraordinary campaign," they emphasize.
"A mobilization conducted not only by politics, but also by Cgil, by associations and committees for No, by many young people away from home who were to be denied the right to vote and who committed themselves as list representatives, and finally by the same judges, whom we thank for stepping up."
For the two pentastellati representatives, the political message is unequivocal: "The people clearly recognized the danger of an imbalance between powers, with the executive ultimately controlling the judges, and chose to defend the Constitution and the independence of the judiciary."
Campo and Piccitto now announce a new phase: "We are already working with a cohesive coalition to carry forward the necessary proposals for change to solve the citizens' problems, starting with a justice reform that guarantees a more efficient service, with faster trials."
They do not forget to thank "the many citizens who have contributed" and, once again, the judges "forced to intervene after being delegitimized, considered a caste to be fought against and even defined as 'a firing squad'."
They conclude: "Now we look ahead with great confidence to defeat this right-wing."
