Referendum, the province of Ragusa rejects the reform with 61.8% of no votes
The only Iblean municipality where the "yes" won is Acate. Voter turnout was high.

The province of Ragusa delivers a clear and uniform result: out of over 113,000 valid ballots, the No received 70,292 votes (equal to 61.80%), while the Yes stopped at 43,458 votes (that is 38.20%).
A gap of nearly 24 percentage points that reflects a clear and widespread orientation in almost all Iblean municipalities.
The capital: Ragusa — In the city of Ragusa, where turnout reached 53.23%, the result was as follows:
No: 63.35%
Yes: 36.65%
The major centers: Modica, Scicli, Pozzallo — In the most populous municipalities, the No front significantly exceeds 65%:
Modica: No 67.32%, Yes 32.68%
Scicli: No 65.16%, Yes 34.84%
Pozzallo: No 67.64%, Yes 32.36% (counting slowed by discrepancies between voters and ballots)
The intermediate range: between 55% and 60% — Several municipalities show solid dissent, though less overwhelming:
Chiaramonte Gulfi: No 58.84%, Yes 41.16%
Giarratana: No 57.83%, Yes 42.17% (municipality with the highest provincial turnout)
Comiso: No 57.17%, Yes 42.83%
Vittoria: No 57.08%, Yes 42.92%
Ispica: No 56.98%, Yes 43.02%
Monterosso Almo: No 55.41%, Yes 44.59%
Santa Croce Camerina: No 53.78%, Yes 46.22%
The only exception: Acate — Acate is the only municipality in the province where the reform was approved:
Yes: 52.39%
No: 47.61%
Turnout: Ragusa among the most participatory provinces in Sicily — In the regional context, where participation stopped at 46.14%, Ragusa stands out:
Provincial turnout: 47.63%
Ragusa city: 53.23%
Enna city: 55.79%
These are the only two Sicilian capitals to have exceeded 50%.
