Di Rosa challenges the big names in politics: "Enough with the slavery from the deputies, here is my team"
Embarrassment in the PD: deafening silence on Nino Cuffaro's resignation, stagnant Circle
While the Center-Right awaits the overcoming of the “buoy” represented by the Justice Referendum to choose its candidate (whether singular or plural remains to be seen), the presentation of the civic project by Giuseppe Di Rosa is proceeding at full speed. The former city councilor has presented his third designated assessor, who would make up his governing team in the event of electoral victory.
This is Salvatore Terrazzino, a young pharmacist from Agrigento, very active in the local association world. This new appointment adds to the names already made public in recent weeks, namely Valentina Oliveri and Davide Dessì. The team, supported by consultant Salvatore Licari, aims, according to Di Rosa, to break a system of political slavery towards the reference deputies, proposing an administrative management that is a direct expression of the territory and its citizens. During the meeting, Di Rosa also reiterated the exclusively civic nature of his run for Palazzo dei Giganti, emphasizing how freedom from party ties is the only viable path to implement a program of real change.
Meanwhile, work is actively underway on the creation of electoral lists within Area Progressista, for Michele Sodano mayor. The former deputy had also indicated a trio of designated assessors, but this occurred before his candidacy became a coalition candidacy. It is likely that a rethink will be necessary to arrive at a proposal representative of all the souls of the project, including Democratic Party, Italia Viva, AVS, and Five Star Movement. Meanwhile, the Dems seem to have decided to ignore the news of the resignation of their city secretary, Nino Cuffaro: neither the Circle nor the party have wanted to comment on it to date.
