In the face of the ongoing impasse of the wide field, Serafino Arena, outgoing city councilor of Ispica, announces out of a sense of responsibility towards the community his availability to run for mayor.

“I have sent to the leaders of the Controcorrente movement the decision to make my candidacy for mayor of Ispica available. I am aware that an absolute change of pace is needed. While waiting for a response from regional secretary Lo Verde, we hope that our leader Ismaele La Vardera can accept this availability. I also place this candidacy in the hands of the wide field, let's unite together we can win.”
