Ispica, FdI breaks the ice and nominates Cafisi as mayor

After a broad and participatory discussion, the Fratelli d'Italia circle of Ispica has unanimously designated Tonino Cafisi as the candidate for the position of mayor.

“A clear and convinced choice – reads a statement – made in the shared will to offer Ispica a strong, credible leader deeply rooted in the territory.”

The proposal for Cafisi has already received the full support of the provincial party leadership, confirming the strength and political perspective of the administrative project.

“In recent weeks, Fratelli d'Italia – continues the statement – has worked with a great sense of responsibility to build a unified synthesis within the center-right. The discussion has been intense and sincere, conducted until the last moment in the belief that unity represents the strongest value to provide the city with an authoritative and competitive political proposal.

Today, with determination and a constructive spirit, we propose Tonino Cafisi's candidacy to the city, hoping that all moderate and center-right forces can recognize themselves and converge around a common project for the future of Ispica.”

A program, the party adds, “that arises from listening to the territory, from daily commitment, and from the desire to open a new administrative season made of concreteness, participation, and development.”

The official presentation of the mayoral candidate is scheduled for Monday, March 16 at 6:00 PM, during a press conference at the Fratelli d'Italia circle of Ispica, on Corso Umberto.

“Representatives of the regional and national delegation will be present at the meeting, confirming the attention and support that the party reserves for the Ispica community and the political project that opens today.” For now, therefore, the center-right is in scattered ranks.
