Adrano, he shows up at the Post Office brandishing a knife: "This is a robbery"

Robbery at the post office on Via Stazione in Adrano . Around 9 AM, a man with a bare face and armed with a knife burst into the branch of Poste Italiane located in the upper part of Adrano.

The robbery took place in just a few minutes. After entering the post office, the criminal began to shout showing the knife he was holding; at that moment, there were no customers, so he addressed the employees directly.

It was moments of fear; shouting like a madman, the bandit threatened the employees of Poste Italiane and demanded they hand over the cash that was in the registers. Having grabbed the money, the robber continued to shout as he left with the loot through the main entrance on Via Stazione.

The amount of the loot that the criminal managed to take is still to be quantified, but it does not appear to be a significant sum. Once the alarm was triggered, agents from the State Police arrived on the scene and began the investigation, reviewing the footage from the surveillance camera system at the post office on Via Stazione in Adrano.

An ambulance from 118 was also on site; the healthcare workers took care of the employees who experienced slight ailments, fortunately for them only a lot of fright.

The last robbery at the post office on Via Stazione was committed on August 8, 2025 by armed bandits with a gun and with their faces covered by helmets.
