Explosion in Piana del Sole in Rome: building collapsed, two seriously injured, about 70 people on the street

Explosion in Rome, in the Piana del Sole–Ponte Galeria area: a building has collapsed on Via Tavagnasco, between Via Cigliè and Via Tavagnasco. According to initial information, the blast affected at least three buildings; one of them has collapsed.
The provisional toll reports two people in serious condition and about seventy people on the street.
Among the hypotheses being considered is a gas leak as a possible cause of the explosion. According to rumors, it could have been the explosion of a propane gas cylinder that caused the building to collapse. The explosion involved three villas, destroying all the walls of the structures, and debris damaged parked cars. Firefighters have rescued two people from the rubble and handed them over to emergency services. Searches continue to locate any other individuals involved.
