Motorcycle and scooter bonuses start today, with incentives of up to 4,000 euros.

Starting today, reservations for the ecobonus for mopeds and motorcycles are open. The incentive, explains the Mimit, is aimed at those who purchase a new electric or hybrid vehicle
The contribution is aimed at those who purchase a new factory electric or hybrid vehicle of categories L1e, L2e, L3e, L4e, L5e, L6e, L7e; the vehicles in these categories are motorcycles or mopeds with two, three, or four wheels, thus including microcars and minicars as well. The purchased vehicle must be new from the factory, can be bought or leased, and must remain the property of the buyer for at least 12 months. 

The contribution will be calculated based on a percentage of the purchase price: 30% for purchases without scrapping, up to 3,000.00 euros, and 40% for purchases with scrapping, up to 4,000.00 euros. In the case of scrapping, it must be a vehicle of the same categories owned for at least 12 months and with an environmental class of Euro 0-3.

Starting at 12 PM today, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, dealers will be able to reserve incentives through the dedicated portal https://ecobonus.mimit.gov.it. For the incentive, the 2021 budget law had allocated a total of 150 million euros: 20 million annually from 2021 to 2023 and 30 million annually from 2024 to 2026. 

In addition to these incentives, among those indicated within the scope of the incentives, there is also the bonus for charging stations for those who install electric charging infrastructure in private contexts, home charging stations, and wall boxes.
