Confcommercio Formazione Sicilia is born, Trainito is the president.

The headquarters of Confcommercio Sicilia, in Palermo, hosted the establishment of Confcommercio Formazione Sicilia (ConfFormazione), the new regional body dedicated to the growth of professional, managerial, and entrepreneurial training in support of businesses.

During the founding assembly, the governing bodies were elected: Francesco Trainito is the new regional president, called to lead a structure that will be tasked with designing, coordinating, and promoting training pathways aimed at businesses, workers, and young people who wish to enter the sectors of commerce, tourism, services, and professions.

Alongside him, the vice presidents Gianluca Occhipinti and Massimo Riva di Sanseverino, who will contribute to defining strategies and developing programs on a regional scale.

ConfFormazione was created with the aim of networking the bodies that operate in training, guidance, skills updating, and active labor policies, enhancing the experiences already present in the Confcommercio system and strengthening the services dedicated to businesses and individuals.

The establishment of the new body represents a strategic step for Confcommercio Sicilia: an investment in human capital and a concrete tool to support businesses in the challenges of economic transformation, innovation, and job growth.
