Comiso, extraordinary urban hygiene interventions in the Cava Grazia neighborhood.

“Environmental operators, as everyone knows, are engaged daily in waste collection and weed removal in the neighborhoods and areas within the casmeneo territory – declares Alfano, who is also Councilor for the Environment – but unfortunately we find ourselves having to clean up illegal dumps in some sites where, despite surveillance cameras like in the Cava Grazia neighborhood, some uncivilized individuals do not give up.”

The administration has carried out clean-up and mowing according to the schedule, reiterating that all activities related to decorum and cleanliness are the result of annual planning.

“Our invitation – the councilor continues – is to collaborate to keep the city clean and to avoid the administration becoming a 'punitive' entity. This is exactly what we do not want to do, and it is also appropriate to explain that any surveillance system has costs that, inevitably, fall on the citizens.
