Ragusa is in mourning for the passing of the emeritus head of Cardiology Raffaele Ferrante.

Ragusa is preparing to give a final farewell to Dr. Raffaele Ferrante, who passed away at the age of 78.

A prominent figure in the Iblean healthcare system, he led the Cardiology department at Arezzo hospital for many years, making a decisive contribution to the development of services and the training of numerous professionals now active in the area. Respected for his competence, rigor, and humanity, Ferrante was able to combine managerial responsibility with clinical attention, building over time a solid relationship of trust with generations of patients and becoming a point of reference for colleagues and citizens. His death leaves a deep void in the Ragusa community.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 3:30 PM at the Church of the Precious Blood, in Ragusa, where family, friends, and all who knew him will be able to pay their respects.
