Cold air currents from the Balkans, freezing temperatures even in the province of Ragusa. And what will happen for Easter and Easter Monday?
The weather forecasters' predictive models do not inspire hope for the best.
The arrival of cold currents from the Balkans marks the beginning of a new phase of marked variability that is set to affect, for at least three days and in an irregular manner, the entire Sicily, including the province of Ragusa. The phenomena will be more frequent in the inland areas, where showers and local thunderstorms are expected, with possible rapid extensions towards the coastal areas. The outlook for the Easter holidays appears less reassuring: starting from Wednesday, an influx of cold air of Arctic origin is forecasted, which will cause a sharp drop in temperatures, bringing the island back into a typically winter context. According to meteorologists, a prolonged phase with temperature values below average is shaping up, which could last for several days and significantly affect Easter and Easter Monday.
