The fourth edition of Ibla Meeting Art continues under the banner of participation and sharing. Following the excellent response from yesterday's opening day, which saw a large audience enlivening the spaces of the San Vincenzo Ferreri auditorium, in the heart of the ancient city of Ragusa Ibla, the event conceived by Amedeo Fusco reaffirms its vocation: to be a crossroads where different arts, languages, and sensitivities come together to form a community. The motto chosen for this year, “the people of art come together again”, finds full realization in the faces, the presence, and the enthusiasm that accompany each event.

The third day, scheduled for Sunday, March 22, will offer a long immersion in the creativity and history of the territory. The morning will be dedicated to the art competition, from 10 AM to 1 PM: an opportunity for artists to engage with the light, the views, and the atmospheres of Ragusa Ibla.

Following that, at 1:20 PM, the lunch at Caffè del Borgo will provide a convivial moment to taste local products and continue the exchange of ideas.

In the afternoon, at 3:40 PM Marco D’Avola will open the series of interventions with a reflection on the storytelling of life through music; at 4:20 PM Giovanni Distefano and Giuseppe Antoci will take the audience on a journey through Ragusa Ibla before the great cathedrals, among rock churches and saints carved in stone. At 5:10 PM Antonio Navanzino will delve into the history of Caltagirone as a city of fired clay; at 5:55 PM Tina Schembari will give voice to the poem “A jastima” by Serafino Amabile Guastella, restoring the power of the Sicilian literary tradition. At 6:05 PM Sergio Cimbali will converse with Amedeo Fusco on the theme of art that manifests and materializes; at 6:45 PM a choreographic demonstration will be held by Saveria Tumino with the students of Progetto Danza. The evening will continue at 7:10 PM with the much-anticipated meeting with Gerardo Sacco, who will share his story with Amedeo Fusco as a “son of Magna Graecia”, retracing his history as a master goldsmith and his deep connection to Mediterranean roots. To close, at 8:00 PM, the Female Choir Muse InCanto from Rosolini, directed by Emanuele Calvo and Beatrice Calvo, with Sofia Suma on piano, will gift the audience with a harmonious and evocative epilogue.

This third day confirms the nature of Ibla Meeting Art: a continuous intertwining of art, memory, research, and performance, capable of transforming Ragusa Ibla into an open cultural laboratory, where the audience is not just a simple spectator but a vital part of a shared experience.
