A course titled "Professional Supervision, Insights, and Advanced Techniques" has been launched at the “D’Alcontres” School for Social Workers in Modica, aimed at social workers and welfare professionals.
The supervision of social service operators is recognized as a essential level of services by the National Plan for Social Interventions and Services.
This activity supports professionals in their theoretical development and in the link between theory and practice, in strengthening professional identity, in reprocessing work experience, in developing teamwork skills, and in regulating emotions for an appropriate use of self in the role.
On the organizational-institutional side, it also enhances the ability to influence decision-making processes and to negotiate with the affiliated entity, as well as providing tools on the technical-methodological level.
The training program will also delve into supervision of multiprofessional teams and actions for prevention and countering burnout among operators, proposing a multidisciplinary educational framework.
