Nativity scene in the Iblei, it's time for the awards.

It will take place tomorrow, Thursday, March 19, at 4 PM, at the viale del Fante in Ragusa, the awarding ceremony of the 44th edition of the contest “The Nativity Scene in the Iblei”.

For years, the Libero Consorzio has promoted “The Nativity Scene in the Iblei”, a well-established event that brings together numerous enthusiasts of nativity art with the aim of spreading messages of peace, solidarity, and brotherhood.

The 2025 edition, strongly supported by President Maria Rita Schembari, has seen a widespread participation, divided into the various sections provided: living nativity scenes, private creations, religious and public communities, educational institutions.

During the event, awards will be given to the top winners in each category, as a testament to the commitment, creativity, and artistic value of the works presented.

A significant appointment for the entire Iblea community, reaffirming the nativity scene as an identity and cultural expression deeply rooted in the territory.
