Fedez hosts Giorgia Meloni on his podcast: "They will make us subservient to power, from us a healthy debate"
A part of the interview that will air on Thursday has been previewed: the prime minister is reviving the justice reform.
«We are very happy about this opportunity. Aside from the articles that are coming out, which will obviously come out, portraying us as subservient to power, at least you from my community and those who follow Pulp know very well that we have already invited Gratteri, who is openly against it, Gerardo Colombo, we have invited Di Pietro and, above all, we sent emails before recording this episode both to Schlein's secretariat of the Pd and to Conte of the M5s. This is stated by Fedez in an audio, speaking about the episode with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, which will air on Thursday. «We have always offered space to everyone and, as you can imagine, we have asked the questions. We are very happy about this opportunity, this milestone for the podcast. We have tried to create a place for healthy debate, and we have built it over time».

«You don't vote on Meloni, you vote on justice. Even those who do not agree with this government should evaluate on the merits a reform aimed at improving the functioning of the system,» said Meloni. «Separating careers - the Prime Minister continues - means strengthening the constitutional principle of the third and impartial judge», while regarding the selection of the list of candidates for the lay members of the new Csm, Meloni clarified that «the list must be built together with the opposition. I want to maintain the three-fifths threshold, because it means that no majority can decide alone». If the yes wins in the referendum, there will be a rule to prevent politicians from entering the Csm for a certain period of time because «in this way - explains Meloni - we can further strengthen the inability of politics to influence this mechanism, because this is the goal of the reform». If the no wins, «I would not resign - the Prime Minister reiterated - because it is my intention to complete the mandate, finish the work and confront the Italians, then let myself be judged on the overall work I have done. So, if you vote No today just to send Meloni home, there is a risk that you end up with both Meloni and a justice system that doesn't work. That doesn't seem like a good deal to me.»
