"Bridge" decree in the Senate: hearings by Thursday and amendments by March 27, the future of the bridge over the Strait of Messina at stake

The examination of the so-called "bridge decree" has begun in the Senate. The decree-law, which contains urgent measures regarding extraordinary commissioners and concessions and also addresses the project for the bridge over the Strait of Messina, has been assigned to the Environment Committee.

The Committee has established that parliamentary groups may submit requests for hearings by Thursday, while amendments must be submitted by 12 PM on March 27. The rapporteurs for the provision are the president of the Committee, Claudio Fazzone (Forza Italia), and the League senator Tilde Minasi. The text must be converted into law by May 10.
