Ragusa, extraordinary concert: instruments made from the wood of the boats
The appointment is scheduled for tomorrow at the Don Bosco theater (Salesians)
The concert “The Melody of Wood” is scheduled for tomorrow, March 25, at 6 PM, at the Don Bosco Theater in Ragusa. This event showcases musical instruments made from wood recovered from migrant boats. These unique artifacts have already traveled across Italy, including a performance at the “Teatro La Scala in Milan”. The star of the evening will be the Orchestra Armonia Barocca, accompanied by the dancing frames of the “G. Verga” Musical and Choreutic High School in Modica. The event will also interact with the photographic exhibition “Ketsia” by Antonio Raciti and the sculptures of Franco Baglieri, creating an artistic journey that intertwines music, dance, and visual arts. The initiative is promoted by the Filotea Cooperative of Comiso, in collaboration with the Ro’ La Formichina Cooperative and the Giovanni XXIII Community Association. The event is sponsored by the Free Consortium and the Municipalities of Ragusa and Comiso.
