Ragusa is ready to light up with “HÏ LOVE IT”, an event promoted by the Municipal Youth Council in collaboration with “SoHï Events”, scheduled for today, Saturday, March 21, starting at 10 PM.
For one night, the heart of the historic center will become a large gathering space for young people: Piazza San Giovanni will be the focal point of the evening, filled with music and socializing.
On stage will be the special guest Cheope, alongside resident DJ Peppe Cascone and the voice of Elbusiness.
“Since our full-scale entry into office last October, the Municipal Youth Council has worked with the aim of promoting initiatives capable of actively involving young people from Ragusa, addressing topics ranging from social issues to culture, and even solidarity,” declares Emanuele Occhipinti, president of the Municipal Youth Council. “At the same time, we deemed it essential to respond to a concrete need that has long emerged from the local youth: the desire to experience the city also through moments of leisure and gathering. Events like this go precisely in this direction, contributing to enhancing the historic center and strengthening the main meeting points of the youth community, with a positive impact on the nightlife of the city. Furthermore, these initiatives also represent an opportunity to highlight the talents, skills, and commitment of the members of the Youth Council itself, making them active participants in the construction of proposals for the city.”
“The Council once again proves to be at the forefront for the youth of our city.” I want to clarify right away that our role is not to transform into an ‘event factory’, but it is evident that events of this kind are strongly requested by the young audience, and it is our duty to provide Concrete responses,” states Andrea Licitra, member of the Municipal Youth Council and representative of the partner association. “For this reason, we have launched a certainly ambitious project, especially since it falls on a Saturday, but we are confident that it will go well and that the boys and girls of our city will respond ‘present’ with their usual enthusiasm.”
The initiative is made possible thanks to the support of the Municipality of Ragusa, the Free Municipal Consortium, and all the sponsors who contributed to the organization, as well as the valuable collaboration of the municipal offices, for which Occhipinti and Licitra express their heartfelt thanks.
