It is the latest work by Maurizio Nicastro that will be staged on Sunday afternoon.
The author and director Maurizio Nicastro
The Badia Theater in Ragusa is preparing to experience a Sunday full of events, in line with the artistic direction of Maurizio Nicastro: a program that alternates poetry, music, comedy, and moments of reflection, with the aim of offering the audience not only entertainment but also opportunities for awareness.
On Sunday, March 22 at 6:30 PM, the “Ragusa Laughs” series concludes with “Onesti si muore”, a new play written by Maurizio Nicastro and performed by Salvo Giorgio, Gisella Burderi, Marco Comitini, Giovanni Migliorisi, and Gianflavio Brafa.
The play, born within the project “The Ostrich Theory”, humorously and with a touch of melancholy addresses the fragility of ordinary people, those who prefer to bury the truth in order to feel innocent. A story capable of bringing a smile while also imposing an honest look at oneself: how often, in daily life, do we choose the easier path instead of the more sincere one?
To make the weekend even more enjoyable, the theater offers the “Theater & Pizza” formula, a simple and convivial opportunity to turn the evening into a complete experience, capable of combining culture and social interaction.
In a historical moment when cultural institutions are called to reinvent themselves to remain vital, the Badia Theater continues to offer a program that engages with the community and actively involves it. This, perhaps, is the greatest merit of Nicastro's work: to remind us that the theater is not just a place to watch a show, but a space to share emotions, reflect, and grow together.
