Monterosso Almo, Passio Christi at San Giovanni

On Friday, March 20, at 7:30 PM, at the Church of San Giovanni Battista in Monterosso Almo, the choir and orchestra “Cantus Novo”, conducted by maestro Giovanni Giaquinta, will present the musical concert “Christi Passio”, a Stations of the Cross in music composed by don Rino Farruggio.

The evening, sponsored by the Municipality of Monterosso Almo and the parish of San Giovanni Battista, promises to be an occasion of intense emotion and spirituality, designed to bring the community together in meditation on the Passion of Christ.

The ensemble “Cantus Novo”, known for its high quality performances, will offer an engaging interpretation of the score by don Farruggio, which retraces, through song and instruments, the stages of the Passion of Jesus. The initiative is open to all.
