Comiso, at Naselli there is "I Can Explain" with Michele La Ginestra

On Friday, March 20, at 9:00 PM, the Teatro Naselli in Comiso hosts "I Can Explain", a lively comedy written by Michele La Ginestra and Adriano Bennicelli, directed by Roberto Marafante and performed by La Ginestra himself along with Beatrice Fazi and Martina Pinto.

Acclaimed by critics for its ability to make people laugh without ever descending into vulgarity, the show weaves together rhythm, jokes, and plot twists with an emotional subtext capable of touching more intimate chords.

The story delves into the dynamics of a twenty-year marriage, filled with small squabbles, great complicity, and that subtle irony that only a long-established couple can afford.

The balance is disrupted when another woman enters the scene: young, charming, and, above all, found in the marital bed. "Honey, it's not what you think... I swear, I can explain!"

From here begins a whirlwind of misunderstandings, flashbacks, scattered memories, lies to dismantle, and truths to piece together. A comedic carousel that, amidst laughter and moments of reflection, leads to an unexpected epilogue, raising the question: is it better to face reality or to take refuge in the seduction of illusion?

On stage, Michele La Ginestra — actor, author, and beloved face of theater and television — engages the audience with immediate humor and unmistakable expressions. Beside him, Beatrice Fazi (the Melina from "A Doctor in the Family"), who combines interpretative sensitivity and elegant irony, and the versatile Martina Pinto. The direction of Roberto Marafante guides a close-knit cast with attention to timing and the balance between lightness and depth.
