Ragusa and the fairy tales in therapy by the Godot company

Fairy tales continue to speak to the human soul and, when they reach the stage, they do so with renewed liveliness amidst laughter, colors, music, and imagination. From this impulse arises "Fairy Tales in Therapy", a text by Federica Bisegna designed for a young audience, which the G.o.D.o.T. Company will present on Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, March 15 at 6:00 PM at the Maison GoDoT. The energetic and brilliant direction is by Vittorio Bonaccorso.

On stage, some of the most famous protagonists of fairy tales will come to life, but presented in an unprecedented and surprising version: a bit lost, sometimes confused, grappling with small doubts and big questions, just like in everyday life. Amidst gags, hilarious situations, and moments of tenderness, the characters will confront the desire that unites both young and old: the search for happiness. Among reassuring illusions, curious questions, and fragilities told with irony, they will discover that even fairies can have some problems, that the supposed saviors do not always arrive, and that true magic, in the end, is learning to accept oneself for who one is.

"Fairy tales have an extraordinary educational power – say the artistic directors Federica Bisegna and Vittorio Bonaccorso – they allow children to recognize themselves while also distancing themselves, offering a safe space to process emotions and fears. 'Fairy Tales in Therapy' shows how even the most positive characters face crises and uncertainties. The message is simple and powerful: you don't need to be perfect to be happy, you just need to learn to accept yourself and believe in your uniqueness. And besides, it's a very entertaining show!"

The 20th edition of "Different Stages" is realized with the patronage of the Sicilian Regional Assembly, the Municipality of Ragusa, and Enjoy Baroque.
